We went back to the park today so Daddy could enjoy watching Jaxin have so much fun playing in the water. I got a video of him running through the water so I had to share! :) Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day. We did!

Bell Tavern Park
I absolutely love this park! It's in a great location & there is so much for kids of all ages to do. We went yesterday and played on the playground. I didn't remember the water area, so I didn't bring swim gear for Jaxin and he was upset that he didn't get to play in it yesterday. We went back today and he had a blast! He even ran through the horseshoe of water (although I couldn't get him doing it on video of course!). Jason has off tomorrow so I think the three of us might go back again. :)
Jaxin's First Scooter
I got Jaxin this scooter for his birthday. He really enjoys it, but it seems a bit difficult for him to ride. It only has two wheels, so that may be the problem since it's not as easy to balance. I might end up getting him a different scooter that I found online. It's made in Switzerland and is specially designed so that toddlers can master it quickly. It's expensive though but the reviews are wonderful. In the meantime, he'll have to use this one.
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Jaxin helped me make oatmeal raisin cookies a few days ago. He loves to help me bake. We made half the batch like normal, then added white chocolate chips to the other half. The ones with the chips were soooo good!

Kites & Cupcakes
Jaxin is starting to feel better and recover from his bronchitis. He still has a bad cough once in a while but his energy levels are back to normal. His appetite is coming back as well so I decided to go ahead and make icecream cone cupcakes with him. He was so excited about it when we talked about it this morning. It was so cute. In the morning, we went outside to fly his kite for a while. It was really windy out, but in small bursts, making it difficult to fly a kite. We had it in the air for short periods, and Jaxin even got to fly it as you can see. He told me he had a lot of fun. While he was taking a nap, my friend, Sondra, came over to visit. After Jaxin woke up, the two of them played and danced to music. He has so much fun showing off for her and flirting with her. It's so funny. We asked her if she wanted to help make the cupcakes, and she did. We all had a good time making them...and eating them too! :)

Sick Sleepy Sunday
While I was downstairs blow-drying my hair, Jaxin was upstairs watching Scooby Doo. When I went back upstairs, I found him zonked out! He still isn't feeling very well but at least there was no vomiting today. He has a really bad cough and is congested in his chest. He's had a bit more of an appetite today though. Hopefully he'll be feeling better soon.

Ahoy Matey!
Jaxin loves his pirate ship water toy I got him for his birthday. He's sick today but he wanted to go outside and play. We stayed out for about 10 min. I hope he feels better soon so he can enjoy this beautiful weather!
