Milky Way Creamery & Farm

I took Jaxin here today to take a hayride to the pumpkin patch. He had a fun time walking around checking out all the pumpkins. We saw a really big wooly worm and a praying mantis. He got to feed some cows grass and one of them licked his pants and he freaked out. We saw sheep, chickens, goats, cows, and one-month old piglets. He got a cup of vanilla icecream with mini M&M's from the creamery, rolled down a hill with other children, and saw a praying mantis on the way back to the car. He had a really fun time there he said and I got a few really cute pics.

Toy Story Toddler Bed

We've given up all hope of ever getting Jaxin out of our bed at night. Jason bought him a toddler bed to put in our room for Jaxin to sleep in at night but he only slept in it for two nights. He's terrified to sleep in his own room and now refuses to even sleep in this bed which is only 3 feet from our bed. God help us!!!

Schulykill River Festival

Jason, Jaxin and I went to the Schulykill River Festival 2 weekends ago where he got to see a lot of farm animals and go on a hayride pulled by horses. We went to lunch at Red Lobster afterwards and Jaxin got to pet a lobster before we left.

Jaxin's 1st Mini-Golf Experience

First Day of Preschool!

Jaxin's first day at preschool went very well. He was so excited to go! Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Aunt Mi-mi & Uncle Mike went to watch him depart for the big event. Jason and I took him into his classroom and helped him hang up his backpack. He got to take a favorite stuffed animal the first day to share with the rest of his class. He took his dinosaur and his teacher said she loved it. The kids got to share their animals with each other and they all got to know one another better. They painted little bears with sponges on contruction paper and the teacher asked Jaxin what his were doing. Playing with cars and blocks at school, of course! Jaxin said they had teddy grahm bears for a snack. He is definitely looking forward to going back! Awwww, our little guy is growing up so fast!

Labor Day Cookout

We went to a cookout on Sunday at Nana & Pop Pop's house. Frank's kids/grandkids showed up too and Jaxin got to play with Nicky & Kristen a lot. Nicky has always been really good with Jaxin ever since they first met. Jaxin really enjoys playing with him and gets a kick out of him too. The weather was beautiful and we all enjoyed spending some time in the sun without sweating! I made a cake and cupcakes to take too which I think turned out well and were really cute.
